silage.jpgAlthough we are not currently enlisting Farmers or creating new Hybrid Co-Operative Organizations, we do want to hear from you.  Sign up for the Farmer's Newsletter using the form on the right of this page and we will keep you up to date on our progress, and contact you with information about the opportunity to become part of a Hybrid Co-Operative producing Feedstock for Piedmont BioProducts.

We expect to expand our network of producers in 2008 (see the timeline below).  You can click on the timeline below for more information on our Phased rollout schedule, its milestones, and why this approach is important to the success of Piedmont BioProducts.

Growing Success

Feedstocks - the plants and trees that we use as the raw materials for the refining process - are grown by cooperative organizations made up of Farmers.  These Co-Ops have a share in our company, and share in our profits.

The types of Feedstocks grown vary depending on geographic location and factors such as soil condition.  The Feedstocks are harvested using corn and hay harvesting equipment, leaving in tact the root system of the plant - from which the renewable Feedstock will regrow for future harvest.
