More good news might be on the way for renewable energy enthusiasts as Piedmont BioProducts plans on beginning construction of a biomass refinery in Pittsylvania County, Virginia that would convert timber byproducts, feedstock, and other organic material into oil.

Southside Virginia makes an ideal site for a refinery that would produce oil from organic feedstock, said the CEO of Piedmont BioProducts in Gretna.
